INDOOR Fees & Information

The Brampton Volleyball League is excited to bring you another indoor season for the Winter/Spring of 2023/24.

With the number of gyms and permits we’ve secured, we should be able to run a regular season, similar to that which we’ve run pre-covid (i.e. # of weeks, divisions, and team, etc.)  We are just excited to bring some indoor volleyball back for our members! Please find additional information below - and get your team together ASAP. The session will be starting very soon!

For those unable to register a team, not to worry!  You can register an individual to be joined with a team.  Also, we will be running regular pick-up/drop-in sessions when possible. Please check our "Pick-Up Games" section regularly for updated information - or join our Facebook group for updates.

• Season starts October 10, 2023 and runs to mid/late April 2023.
• Games MAY be played during March Break. We will announce details at a later time.
• Game times for all divisions will fall anywhere between 6:00pm and 10:45pm.
• All prices INCLUDE HST and year-end prizes.
• Other league format changes may also come into effect during the season, as we are subject to policies and regulations laid out by the City (and its gyms/facilities) and/or the Province. Please make sure you and your team members are aware of this before registering.  Thank you in advance for your understanding.
• A BVL on-site will be present to help with setup, take scores and answer questions. They will not referee games.
• To ensure punctual start and finish times, teams must help will court setup and tear down.

ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS:

• We are returning to regular BVL rules as they pertain to what constitutes a “legal team” with the number of men and women required on the court and any associated point penalties.
• It is the team's responsibility to ensure your team is able to play each week. Absent teams will be issued only one warning in the case of a "no-show", followed by a fine for subsequent missed games.
• There will be an alignment round at the beginning of the session.  It is your team’s responsibility to ensure your team members are there to properly align your place in rankings. Movement to a different division to “correct” alignment is at the sole discretion of the BVL.
• If a refund is requested by a team, for whatever reason (medical, personal, etc.), and is granted under the full discretion of the BVL, an administrative fee of $60.00 will be deducted from total amount to be refunded.  This fee is to cover financial and operational costs incurred during the registration process.
